Disable fuel temp sensor?

I swapped out my secondary fuel rail so I could run bigger injectors. New fuel rail has no position for the fuel temp sensor. As a result, I left the connector empty and have a red area in "sensors" on the Datalogit and my exhaust overheat light stays lit

Is there a way to disable this sensor so the light on the dash goes out? I don't believe there is

If not, any reason I shouldn't try to hook the sensor back into the connector and just leave it dangling?
That's a tough area to access... any other ideas to resolve the issue?

I've already made the adjustment to 1.00 in Inj vs Fuel temp

Fortunately I was able to fish out the connector with only removing the pressure tank on top of the engine. Now the fuel temp sensor is plugged in and dangling. I have the metal tip covered in a 6mm silicone cap. Hope it does the trick

With the Settings 2 INJ vs Fuel Temp values at 1.00, the sensor is not required by the PFC.
