Boost controller problems with PFC

I really need your help on this as im lost.

Just bought a Greddy profec B boost controller from RX7DV8 and the boost controller seemed to work fine. Since my Greddy T78's wastegate spring is @ 10lbs i cant go no lower than that.

(Long story short) on low boost it seems ok (+.58 kg/ccm2= 7.66lbs On high boost i set the boost controller knob all the way to max boost and it went to +.78 kg/ccm2= 11.06lbs. thats wierd cause if i put it on high boost & took the knob all the way to max it should be a whole lot more than that (more like 30psi or something like that). The balance is at sharp all the way. but what im wondering is if the PFC is doing anything to prevent the boost controller from doing this?

any help is appreciated just want to know if rx7dv8 gave me a legit boost controller

How can low boost be less than spring set pressure?

If you have only the Profec solenoid on the WG then the PFC is not involved in boost control. The PFC will fuel cut for overboost protection based on the boost control setpoint you have in the PFC.

The PFC manual says to set the boost value higher than what you will be running when using an external boost controller. This is to prevent fuel cut. Go read the PFC manual where it tells how to control boost.

It is impossible to run less boost that the external WG spring pressure unless you are reading the boost value from the PFC which is inaccurate. At a true 10lbs boost my PFC shows 9lbs. You must have your boost controller set up incorrectly if you can reach over 11psi.

YEAH! Im reading it from the PFC. i looked at the back and there are a couple of buttons on the back showing some numbers
