Boost Contoller... PFC

I am looking to get a PFC in about a month or two and i was reading up and i see it doesnt have a boost controller, so i would need to buy one, now if i bought a manuel one and got it installed, and then a couple weeks later got the PFC installed would that do anything to my car if the boost controller was installed first? thanks for your help just dont want to mess up my car and im kinda new to all this

The PFC does have a simple boost contoller that works by solenoid duty cycle.
It does not have any feedback control. Thus boost pressure can vary due to seasonal temperature changes. It controls boost for both turbos before and after transistion.

If using a mechanical or external EBC, you shouldn't have to do anything else as you installation should have disabled the PFC controls.

If you are still have sequential turbos, the PFC does want to also control the #1 turbo boost for pre-spool unless you are controlling that also. I did this by using two manual boost controllers.

You will still need to read the PFC manual about setting your max boost value to prevent FUEL CUT under boost.

Chuck, do you think a manual boost controler works better than the PFC in stock twins?

I can not comment on which is better, as I never went that route.
I was reprogrammed stock ecu with dual manual,
to PFC non-seq with single manual,
to PFC non-seq EBC,
to PFC single turbo EBC.
