-356mmhg when car off? was -70 two days ago.

Just got a power fc and had base map loaded for 720/820cc injectors by banzai. Before ever starting this thing, I checked map signal and it said -70mmhg, which i converted to 1inhg, which matched my boost gauge two days ago. but now it says -356 roughly when the car is off... which converts to -14.7psi....?

any input to why? new to power fc and am searching for this right now. have a datalogit and fc-edit, but called it a night at 10:00 as didn't want to piss off the neighbors.

Car starts and dies, and i wonder if this is why.

have the fd iat sensor reading proper 22C, water temps reading proper 23C.
did the extra FC igniter thing.

forgot.... super accidentally grounded alternator to intake manifold and saw one spark..... with map sensor unplugged it showed a different amount of voltage/or mmhg i forgot as it was 2 hours ago.

possibility of frying gm 3 bar map sensor?

what should map sensor voltage/mmhg be with it unplugged? 0 or voltage?

it did start before with 550/720cc injectors. so hoping it was a mapping issue.

You should always disconnect the battery when you have UIM off. You fried something.

Check your fuses, check that the map sensor is set on "option 2". Try changing the map sensor option, if the reading does not change you either have a fried sensor or PFC.

Rescaled map sensor and good to go. Close scare as I'm usually way more careful. Was having a conversation when working on the car.

Thank you for replying and I'm really impressed you give so much input to power Fc community
