3,000 RPM Stumble and DATALOGIT

Has anyone figured out how to fix the 3,000 RPM stumble that has been occurring with the DATALOGIT software?

I've got the stumble right now and want to get rid of it. Seems like I've seen some discussion about it but don't recall seeing how to fix it.

Thanks...

I don't know if this is what you are talking about but I had something similar. My problem seemed worse when cold but I could still feel it when the car was warmed up, just not as bad. I noticed as boost would begin to build I would get a lean stumble then it would be fine for the rest of the rpm band. What I did was change my injector lag time for the 1600's to .40 and set the overlap to 9, 9, 7. It worked for me.

Roy,

There are 2 of us in Columbus, Ohio that have the Datalogit hardware interface box hooked up and see no stumble. The software would have no affect, unless you're talking about running the monitor function and seeing a stumble then (have not see that either.)

Can you elaborate and what you are doing?

Is this with your water injection system on?

I'm not running the water system as of now.

I've heard of several people having a stumble around the 3,000 rpm range (reminds me of the stock problem most 3rd gen had, remember).

I seem to remember someone saying it had something to do with the transition area where the secondary injectors were coming online.

Roy,

In your original post it sounded like you were talking about attributing the stumble to the Datalogit?

I recall having a slight lean hesitation at a particular rpm range under light throttle/acceleration, faint memory as its been awhile. I upped the injector overlap on setting 5 from 3, 2, 1 to 7, 7, 3 moving from the max boost row to the minimum boost row or top down. No more lean condition.

Try it and let us know.

Kyle
