How was your experience with JDM Engine World? Also where did you end up finding your W58 Trans? Thank you in advance. I'm trying to do this swap for my RX 7 as well and just trying to figure everything out.

FWIW, in another 1jz thread on here I saw that the NA version of the mark IV supra had a shifter extension on the trans that will work for the FC. If anyone here is wondering about that. tech 2 motorsports also has a shifter extension but its a little pricey. That was my concern after the mounts themselves.

liking all the info, Still wondering about wiring with the 1jz ecu as far as the interior harness goes. Is everyone just repinning it to the 1jz ecu connector I'm assuming? I'm not great with wire diagrams, I can get by but a "this color FC side goes to this pin JZ side" would be awesome.

I'm totally on board with you, I hate all those pics of stuff, as I'm the type who wants to see pics, vids, and maybe a little bit of stuff in crayon lol but I kid, I am in the middle of putting a 2jz-ge In my 88 fc3s just waiting to get my rear sump conversion and put that baby in, plus in not lowering the sub frame I'm just gonna cut out the hood it doesn't bother me, but hope your build is going good
