Found some pics

Rain gutter edges are cut to sit flat on fender and rear quarter. The lip is left to go under door edge The bottom is drilled by the edge and then cut for flexibility.

Here you can see the stacks rain gutter /foam /board. I painted the foam black. It was a mistake Had to sand it back off The paint shrank the the foam. I used sticky tape along the rain gutter and sticky tack to make the transition smoother

I need one more outer layer and a couple areas of strength . After that I'll start on the other side

Two layers one to go. After that I'll trim everything up

You might be able to spray a little bit of insulating foam on the backside and shape it a bit to reinforce it.

The parts will be bodywork and painted. But at least I know it's a legit part.

Hopefully this May we will have our track open here on Maui. If the rear end holds together, I hope to get a decent time slip. We will see.

Relief cuts and larger cut is for the 90 degree bend at the end

Heart gun for the end I used some sticky tack to hold the panel in place.

Make your foam spacer if you want a low side skirt

Screw that too the bottom

Screw splitter to foam or directly to the sideskirt of you skipped the foam step

Base complete

Duct tape all the way up

I started with carbon tape followed with 2 layers of 2x2 carbon fiber twill

Just need to trim the edges
As far as the epoxy, I used a 2:1 system (slow)
Just follow the directions.

We will see if I get end of May off.
Really, just shooting for 11s for this race. I'll be at 7psi on pump gas. I want to get used to the car. I haven't drag raced on a track for 20 years. We shall see.
