You posted in the wrong section, and you will probably get flamed from here on in. Kind of sucks for your very 1st post. I personally think that it's pointless.

Easy 400HP on stock internals, and without opening up the engine seems like a good reason to me. But lets not turn this into another pistons VS rotor bash fest. There is already one of those in the lounge.

You have become a true benedict arnold. Ever since you pulled the motor out of your FC you have been swinging from the Piston sack.

I wasnt trying to turn it into a piston vs rotor bash I just dont see why you would want an sr20. have you had 400hp on a stock internal sr20?

i own an sr20 swapped 240. if u want an sr20 u should look around for a 240 roller.

if its the styling of the mazda u like. there r better engine conversions out there for the price u would pay for the sr20 and time/money to fab it up w/o alot of previous swaps to base ur work off of.

i dont know the situation, maybe u have an sr20 lieing around and u have the time and money to do this. but i would stick w/ either the turbo rotaries or v8s in the mazda.

Killa DB 06-18-06 09:30 PM

i wasnt leaning towards an sr20 i was just wondering if it was actually true.... but as of right now i am pricing out a 350 v8 to put in it my buddy is a mechanic and said he would help me do it :D so i cant wait :D
