Chevy Powered Rx-7
Am I the only one "stupid" enough to pull my rotary out and put a chevy motor in or what?!?!?!?!?!?!?Dont tell me I'm gonna get banned from this board because of it...and if not anyone else that did it i may need a lil help thanks guys

nah, a friend and i are doing the same thing....350 in a 87....
|
You are far from the only one doing a rotary to piston swap. Although, I am not sure that this post belongs in this section. Probably more appropriate in the general automotive section.
|
Personally I am not a big fan of piston engine swaps into RX7s. Especially low-budget half-ass jobs.
But luckly I have alot of GM experience, so if you have questions about GM V6s or 4 Cyls, I can likely help. You will not get banned for a swap like this. Infact, jimlab with his V8 FD33 runs most of the forum... ;) |
i hate ford but a ford 302 is lighter and much much cheaper to work on fix and just about anything....but then agian its ford......thats why everything is cheep. sorry guys, i dont like ford

There is a good section on this board for engine conversions. Click on "rotary performance" and then "other engine conversions".
Another good one is v8rx7.com One day I will have an LS1 powered FC! |
off to other engines

You're not the only one...
I've got a L98 based 383 stroker going in sometime soon... Just need to finish up the rebuild on the engine, and gather the necessary TII rear end parts. |
