Chevy Direct injection v-6
Any thoughts on transplanting this motor? I have an 89 convertible and could sure use 312 horsepower with low end torque. Not to mention the gas mileage would be around 30.

The LS swap is well documented and would prob be easier on your wallet.
I hear reports of 28-30mph on the hwy in swapped FC/FD |

That's why I went with the 2J... 190mph+!

Not really a great fit, but I'm sure it could be done. Engine control and fueling are going to be challenging.
A 5.3L LS will get about the same milage, same or more power, and is a lot cheaper/easier to do. |
