take your car to a rotary tuner shop and tell them how much power you want. and then don't ask anymore questions about it. I seriously think this forum needs a retard filter.

ok you car now in uncharted territory the most practaced swaps at Turbo 2, or Ls1/t56 combo.
the tubro 2 nets you about 200hp in factory form the LS1 nets 340hp. the LS1 is cheaper to biuld in the US then a rotary. that being said there is alot of people who dont agree with swaping in a LSx motor into a RX-7 saying it kills the "soul" of the car and what not. personally i'm going an all together new route with a Volvo heavily modded B5234T (2.3L inline 5 turbo motor from an 850) with a Getrag trans behind it. |

as i checked on my car.. i have the 87 model.. but as i look under i got a limited slip diff.. it would also explain all the fish tails it has given me.. but would tht be considered as a gud diff or do i need a better one then tht one ?

contact Eat PEZ he could give you a average biuld tall cost wise for a LSx swap.
or about ~$1500 for a turbo 2 swap. |
FC, full LS1 swap, doing everything yourself but buying mounting kits, headers, cooling system off the shelf, you're going to spend 5000-6000 dollars on parts.
FC, full LS1 swap, having it done for you - 7000-10000 dollars. You can certainly spend more; I've probably got 25-30k in my car, and I do my own labor. |
