Rebuilt/New Engine

Who would you buy a rebuilt/new engine from? I know very little about the rotary engine and even less about the vendors out there. I would like to get a powerful engine. It is not a Turbo.

Also, it is a 1989 - how do I know if it is a 13B, 12A, etc.?

What about interior parts, like carpet kits.

Thanks

There are tones out there, check out the main sectino of the rotary performance forum for better results.

Are you looking for some in your area or is cross nation shipping an option?
I think Japtrix is located in Florida, those guys know what they are doing. Isn't the shop Crispeed works at down there too? I dunno, good luck though.

You have a Series 5 (S5) 13B NA (na for normally aspired, aka non-turbo). It's a very good engine that you have, better than the earlier 2nd gen ones, and basically as good as the 3rd gen engines (of course w/o the turbos)

All RX-7 engines from 1986+ are 13B engines.

Thanks. You have just given me a valuable eduction. If I decide to go with the V8, do you know of anyone who would want to buy my enginge and transimission. The trans is in excellent shape - only 66,000 well maintained miles.
Where is Japtrix located and do you have contact info?

Thanks
