Im Almost Done With My Conversion. I Want To Know What I Should Set The Haltech For Redline? Stock Twins, Front Mount Intrercooler, Tt Supra Fuel Pump, Stock Injectors, Ls1 Coils. I Dont Want To Over Rev This Motor And Have Somethng Happen

6500 to be safe. You will get a lot more replies in the "rotary performance" or "haltech" forum as this one is geared for pistonheads.

6500 untill you get it tuned. Once properly tuned it can rev to 8k (there is no point unless you have a pretty big turbo though).

I have the same setup (for now) don't expect much from the stock RE twins, they are far smaller than the FD units.

Spin it to the MOON...

Lol^

(Eshaft stress)=(constant of proportionality)*[(rotor mass)*(Tangential velocity)^2]/(radius of Eshaft throw)

Clearly, tangential velocity of the rotor is proportional to the RPM of the engine....... and I'm sure we can all agree that since Eshaft stress is proportional to RPM squared, it all boils down to ........

Eshaft stress = rpm squared

Agreed, but in my experience, the e shaft isn't one of the weak points in the rotary engine.

How many E shafts have you seen break?

However, there is no point in spinning faster than your HP peak.

Never seen one break myself. Somewhere I got the idea that it could flex enough (seeing how it is only supported on the ends) so that the rotors change angle just enough to take up the .008in clearance with the side plates. I can't remember where I read this. I'm sure we can all agree that rotary race engine builders do not share their engineering in most cases.

That can happen but your talking about 10000 plus. I saw a video of a raceboat 20B recently running 9500 rpm, supposudly for 40 minutes strait. I say supposudly because there are cuts in the video.

That sounds like an expensive engine.

dont swap that in, you'll kill the handling.
