1.8 DOHC Swap Starts July 4th
This is what im going for.
http://a381.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...faccb27e7c.jpg I think that will look real good in my engine bay. I dont think it will be too hard to swap in i have the no how and the skill to make everything but i may need some ideas. Fuel is easy to make happen( thank you mazda for inline fuel pump) Engine mounts are simple to make once i get the position figured out. Exhaust will be easy but not fun. Computer is easy but ill have to make a custom dash. Tranny mount is agian easy but will take positioning if there is anything im not thinking of but you guys are let me know. I will be doing a step by step write up showing the home made parts and the stuff i will prolly have to buy. |
I cant seem to find this unless i back up my browser?

Waitaminute?!?
You're putting a b18c into an rx7? |
I hope not, is that a BP?
I think some things some people overlook is the angle of the driveshaft. Make sure the tail of the transmission is the same height as the stock one. |
It looks top-heavy. Good luck on the angle, as others have said.

You're putting a b18c into an rx7? WOW i didnt know honda made a engine that has a BIG MAZDA LOGO on the valve cover...... Yes the angle is going to be fun but i can make a new crossmember. |
Yeah, I just looked at it too fast, I noticed it now.
DOH! Yeah, sorry, I'm usually a Honda guy, so my mind jumped to that first... |
