what are the good toyota models for rotaries
hello, all , which toyota models do most put rotaries in?
I haven't seen a list. I know of a few toyotas that have been sitting a while and have been thinking of getting some thing new going. I belive I could could get a 70's probably a 72 celica GT. and there is also a 70's corona. or it might be a corolla. Lates Matt |
starlet are always good for rotaries, they weight around 1700 to 1900 lbs maybe even less. Another good one is a corolla TE27 AKA Mango weights around 2000 lbs. Yeah the Celica's are good to but weights a bit more.
I was gonna do a 13b swap on my starlet but I was force to sell the car by my financial manager (wife). But would love to see it done on a TE27. |
anybody know off hand which models still offer good and relitively cheep aftermarket parts? unlike suspension parts for my RX2. thanks Matt

An Aussie Chiropractor friend has a 74 2 door sedan Corolla with a genuine 1000RWHP on a dyno, I had the dyno sheet, it was over 700 KW (metric). The car is green (Kermit) and looks stock outside other than fender flares. Damn wildest car I eve rode in, sideways through 5 gears, drives at a 25 degree angle...
