I started to make some boost on the 2-step, so now the car is leaving a little better. Anyone have any suggestions to make more boost on the 2-step? I put the injectors to 100% at that rpm etc, Im thinking I need a start-retard box, and I DO NOT want to put N20 on the car (Im trying to get it to play in here hope it works...if not go to http://www.ammarsgallery.com/510/510.wmv

sweet. what was your ET on that run?

12aTurbo510 08-24-04 08:49 PM

No Idea

I have no idea what the ET was I was in a NT lane, I was only concerned with how the car left....in the past when the car did a 1.5 60' it went low tens, so hopefully next time out the track prep will be good and Ill make full passes...

Really nice launch. What is the set up?

12aTurbo510 08-25-04 02:57 AM

The setup:

The car is a '69 510 (its smog exempt so I could put my motor in it and drive it on the street) This car drives on the street ALL THE TIME! Its back-halved, it has ladder bar suspension with a 9". The tranny is a Jerico downshiftable. Motor is a Rotaryshack 12a, mild steet port that makes 520rwhp at 24lbs of boost.
