Research classic garage before you purchase. Some have experienced problems with them since they are NOS without factory warranty.
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ssicgarage.com We offer spacer to use Tokico shocks from a 1981-1985 Rx7 in your stock strut housings: http://mrcmfg.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=106 -billy |
shocks
so I can use these spacers with my stock rx3 housing, and purchase some early model rx7 tokico shocks and I'll be good? Also, what can I do for the rear?

Yes with one issue. The Rx7 shock will not mat with your upper mount. You can convert to our camber plates and we can turn the shocks to mate up with them. The rears should not be hard to find from another vehicle. It will be a simple through bolt mount on the bottom and a stud mount on the top. Pretty standard for a shock. Just make sure to get something with the same compressed and extended lenght. -billy |

No matter if you use the REspeed spacer and 1st gen Tokico on a stock RX-3 strut tube is that you will still have a shitty brakes. Your other options is to modify a 1st gen strut tube with RESpeed camber plate: 1. Without RESpeed spacer: Extend the first gen strut tube (cut and re-weld) and use RWD 626 koni insert. Same diameter as 1st gen but the lenght/travel is the same as the stock RX-3. 2. With RESpeed spacer: Just like above, but use 1st gen Tokico. If you need to see them, I have both modified struts handy. You got my #. |
