Seatbelts.
 

OK so i really dont like Mazdas stock seatbelts, they dont really hold you in place really the only thing i want to do is take out the over the shoulder strap and jsut use the lap belt but i want the strap for safty reasons. and so i dont get bothered by the police, Cuase of there great program "click it or ticket" lol. so i want to find a nice look set of seatbelts that has a self contained retracter part, the piece that bolts donw by the floor. I was gonn use ones form a 88 RX7 but the retractor piece was meant to sit behind a plastic panel to hide it. so the piece is really ugly. I was hopeing to get some good ideas from you guys. But like i said i would reall yperfer to stay mazda with them, and have them in black. I am gonna ask the first gen section for pics of what theres look like. and i will link the pics here if i get any. thanks Matt22

the later rx2's came with retractor type belts
my 71 has the old belt with no retractors. i dont mind them but i would hate to get into
a crash with them since they always have to be a little loose.

ya exactly. well i guess i will probably have the problem with most seatbelts as no body really wants to see the retractor piece. maybe i will jsut have to paint the lower piece of one. and see how it looks.
