Scored!!! Old School MAZDA Rotary Sales Literature GOLDMINE!
2 Attachment(s)
Everyone,
A die-hard rotary guy and friend of mine (47samurai) called me a few weeks back and said he was going to be in town. He claimed to have a stack of old school Mazda sales literature and asked if I was interested. Interested? Me? Duh, well of course. Now, I thought he might have one or two things, but what Kevin showed up with was absolutely amazing. Some of these I had seen before, but a couple just blew me away. Anyway, I'll be posting these up one by one over the next week or so. Chime in if you've got something similar or know the history behind some of these items! Thanks again Kevin (47samurai) for making my day! First off is a membership brochure for RX-7club of America. Publishers of the famous Rotary Rockets magazine. Remember those? This one was SURE to make most guys want to sign up NOW :) Attachment 610830 Next up is a brochure distributed by dealers that featured Bob Bondurant. Yup, a big Mazda guy back in the day! Attachment 610831 Anyway, more to come in the next few days. Show me what you're got! |
Hmmm...Bob seems to have run his FB into the wall. ;)
|
you meant SA!!!!!!!
|
Oops, yes, SA. The best kind of 1st gen.
|
That Bondurant booklet is interesting. Is it just general driving tips like "slow in, fast out", "this what an apex is" or are there some actual RX-7 specific tips?

Thanks guys. Agreed, I'll look into getting them scanned, but it may be awhile since I'm pretty swamped right now at work. If you reply telling me the ones you'd like scanned FIRST I can use that to set the firing order. Here are a few more to share. Getting down to the final few.... Some final Gen 1 items. Enjoy!
