S5 turbo and manifold in Rx2?

I am attempting to put a stock s5 turbo and manifold on my 12a. It's in a 73 Rx2, but it's a 85 12a. I dremeled out the stock bolt holes in the T2 manifold to fit the 12a. And I will be later porting it as well.
The problem came when I tried to test fit it. I test fitted it in my 1st gen since it has the same intake manifold and motor. But the turbo hit the steering arm and will probly hit the frame as well. Since the Rx2 frame width is even less, I don't see a way for it to fit naturally.

So my idea is to flip the manifold around so the turbo sits more forward and higher, hopefully clearing the frame and steering.

Has anyone done this or anything else to fit a stock T2 turbo and manifold in there Rx2?

I have seen people in Australia do this with s5 turbo and manifold ,but don't think its possible with s4.give it a try and report back with pics.if it works out it will save some money for those on a budget

It looks like it will work. But the studs where the turbo bolts to the manifold are not symmetrical in one direction. So that means I will also have to oval out the bolt holes in the turbo for it to be possible. Which I don't mind doing as long as it fits. But will suck if it still hits the frame...
