rx3 drive shaft bolt dimensions

hi guys,

im working on a friends rx3 project and when he bought the car the drive shaft was off. the previous owner stated the the drive shaft bolts were screwed into the diff. fast forward 2 years, im finishing this project for him and the drive shaft bolts are missing :uh: so i've been searching for about 2 weeks now in my free time and cannot find the thread size and pitch and about how long should they be? if anyone can help me with this it would be appreciated. im lost on trying to search these out,i even went to my local mazda dealer and they couldn't even tell me, nor could they order them :( please and thanks guys

go to home depot and buy some cheap bolts of different thread pitches, they are probably M6 bolts, then when you find out what the thread pitch actually is go buy some grade 8 bolts and loctite.

they are 8mm (12MM head) same thread size as the intake manifold bolts

They need to be a high grade like grade 12. I'd recommed getting some stock bolts from a fellow forum user.
