RX-3 SP in Jacksonville, FL

Hi guys,

After many years of looking, I finally found and bought a 77 RX-3 SP. The car is going to need a lot of work but seems to have most of the trim including the spoiler and louver kit. Currently, it has a 4 port racing 12A with RB intake and Holley carb, 5 speed late trans, RB clutch and the original RX3 diff. Front suspension is from a GSL-SE. The car starts and runs but right now it's mostly set for the racetrack. I want to cosmeticaly restore the car closer to original but also need to make it more streetable since I don't intend to race it.

I'm located in Jacksonville, Florida and would really appreciate any help in finding a reputable and knowledgeable shop here that may be able to help set up the drivetrain and suspension. I can also use some help finding sources for trim and interior items like carpet, dash, etc.

Thanks for your help, after all these years, it's good to be back in rotorland .

You want someone to help you set up the drivetrain and suspension?
DO you mean find the original equipment and replace the current ones?

You say it has a "later" 5 spd tranny. Many people who race 12a's like to put Turbo II transmissions on there. Study what you bought carefully.

DO your research. There is no need to spend money going backwards. UNLESS You HAVE to have a 100% original car.

ANd what do you mean it is set for the racetrack? TOO loud? Is it bridgeported so it kicks like a kangaroo on lower rpms? whats the deal?

race suspention on the street will be a good thing i'd say, unless you're wanting to make it original again

chuck some pics up so we can see it as is :)
