REPU ignition switch

So my 75 switch took a shit!

Anyone have a fix for this problem? I been looking an alternative with a Ford Courier switch but can't find any info on it. And to find a Mazda Switch for a 75 is extremely hard. My 74 switch wont work, and only been finding ones for 76+ and that wont work either.

Thanks for any info you give!

Diego, how many wires/pins are there on a 75 and up ignition/key cylinder?

6 pins I believe. We actually got it fixed. The switch was just loose inside so jammed it and worked!! Hahaha still gonna try to find a fix

I'm about convinced that the lock cylinder and switch bodies themselves for the Courier/B-Series/REPU are all the same. The difference is that the Courier/B-Series harness plugged into the switch, and with the REPU Mazda chose to solder some wire onto the back of the switch, and those wires and connectors varied slightly from year to year.

I have a new Courier/B-Series switch and electrically it is identical to what the FSM says it should be, just lacking the REPU wires. Eventually I'm going to install it in my truck as part of a larger electrical system overhaul.

well i was going by what other people have posted. Try it on a stock wiring harness and let us know how it goes
