Question on a rotary quad

i was wondering if anyone has tried this, if so how would i do it, a few buddies of mine here at ford have racing quads and i want to get a body and put a rotary in one to go with them :D rotary quad, sounds so great, i was thinkin if i cant do a custom, maybe get a 588cc one from a norton motorcycle that makes 95ps :)

I know a guy (Mike Wiggins of RX7 Heaven in Dexter MO) who has a single rotor engine made from mazda parts and a custom E-shaft...this was made by a Mazda engineer in his spare time during the 80s. I think he said he'd sell it for $500.

would it fit in a quad like a polaris banshee??

I'm not familiar with quad bikes but just imagine a standard Mazda 12a but half as long.

im not worried about length, just height :) the norton motorcycles have a 294x2 rotor engine, 588cc, one of them made 150hp@10,000rpm, sweet engine if i could find one.

Atkins sells single rotor 13Bs.

Yamaha makes the Banshee. With some tuning they're pretty scary already with thier twin cylinder 350 2 stroke. Unless you use the norton engine how are you going to do the transmission and drive train?

yea thats what i thought. a guy at my work has a 490cc polaris, its damn quick :)
