All that feed back is good, BUT, keep in mind that there are point coils and they are electronic coils, DON'T MIX THEM, then your thinking what the F### it puts out a spark a mile long it got to work
|
so whats is wrong with the twin dizzy?
I might eventually get a rx712a and put it n there and get the current motor rebuilt and upgraded. I am not sure yet. it runs strong, its jsut a pussy. |
what's wrong with them? they're double the headache. why run points when u can upgrade to the better electronic setup?

Matt,
Let me know if you do change to a single dizzy.I just purchased a 73 stock twin dizzy RX2 and I'm already dreading having to tune the motor with those Damn Points.Last time I owned a Twin Dizzy I was about knee high to a grasshopper and I could not get that motor to run right! Either I have to learn how to Tune a twin Dizzy or change to a single electronic Dizzy. |
how did you know if it was out of tune. i mean mine runs well, it kinda make a very slight grinding noise soemtimes while its warming up. but it idles real well, and sould normal. I will jsut have to see what Gambone thinks when he comes down tomorrow.
