Pro Touring 808 Coupe
I've got a build thread going on JNC, thought I'd share it over here too.
I will be brief. I bought this car in 2009, found it about 20km from home in a local classified ad. It wasn't until September of 2013 that I started working on the car. It will be a pro touring style of build. My ideas are ever changing so I won't be posting any of my plans for the car, just updates as they happen. The day I picked it up https://img338.imageshack.us/img338/5485/91109003s.jpg |
Awesome!
WOW, that's a great project...!

There was some rust... this is a very small sample, there was heavy rusty everywhere.

December was a write-off with travelling to PRI in Indianapolis, Christmas, and skiing in QC/NY, so not much was done.
I got a much better (albeit way older) camera that seems to deal with the poor lighting conditions, pictures should be better from now on. January 2014 - The cutting is mostly done now. https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/10...0/560/4e6j.jpg https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/10...0/703/5opj.jpg |
Welcome, Dave. Nice to see that you aren't messing around. Will be watching your progress.

Keep up the good work Dave. I remember Joe telling me how your car was in as bad of condition as my R100. Glad you decided to build it up. I may have to borrow that dolly you built for my R100 someday.

Step 1: Identify rust.
Step 2: Cut 90% of car off. Awesome. :D |
If you intend to kill the cancer that's the way to do it! Lol
|
Interested to see where this one goes.
