Need help finding RX-3 front brake rotors

Just turned down the front rotors on my race car and they are getting a bit thin. Unfortunately, they also might be the last rotors I get as Mazda has discontinued them. I'm also having no luck sourcing them through Discount/Advanced/etc. Auto Parts.

I just wanted to see if anyone on the boards here had any old RX3 parts lying around that they wanted to part with, or, had a source for these parts. I really just need the rotors, but would take the hubs if someone wanted to sell them together.

Thanks for any hep you can offer.

Pretty sure '79-'83 Rx7 brake calipers and rotors will bolt-right up. This way you also get the vented discs!

keep n mind that the thread pitch changed in 81. its a direct swap if you use 79-80. Thats what I used in the RX-4.

You can use the ones from the early GLC same as RX3 you can find those in the junkyard pretty cheap and in good shape. You can swap the whole front suspension from a GLC into an RX3 did it to my last RX3. Dime a dozen in the junkyards.

I have a set of brand new front rotors for my 72 that I bought from Napa last January. Never used them. I dont need them now that I swapped my front brakes for a set of Aerospace 4 piston units.

The Rx2 rotors are the same as the Rx3 ones right? I actually have an Rx2. Oh and Reno isnt that far I guess. My sister lives up there too. How much do you want for those?

Bad news :( I bought a couple of rotors and calipers from someone here in town. They were on a 79 Rx7. I cant put them on the Rx2 though. The bearings are not the same. I also have an 80 strut assy with the rotor etc still on it. Those bearings are not the same either. I checked the part #'s on the rotors that I bought from my buddy and they match the # auto zone lists for an 84-85 car. So now I either need an 84-85 strut assy or some odd ball race or... something.

Will the FB struts fit?

I can make the inner bearing work. The Rx2 race pressed into the Rx7 rotor no sweat. Its the outer that is different on all 3 of these setups. Does any one know of a bearing race that will fit the 85 rotor and the Rx2 spindle?

I have a set of RX-3 front brake rotors with new bearings that i would be willing to part with. They are freshly turned and haven't been run since they were turned and painted. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.
