That is a beautiful example of an RX2. What year is it? I have (2) '74s a 2dr and a 4dr. Be careful parts are very scarce. I cannot find a brake master cylinder or a rebuild kit. The same goes for the rear struts and steering components. If you know where these items can be sourced, let me know.

69 510 - Try matt@always-jaguar.com His company is called VIntage Imports. He usually has the items you're looking for. I picked up a new MasterCylinder from him about a year ago. He sometimes has balljonts and tie-rod ends.

I will post a list of where to get parts as soon as i
get them all and make sure that they are correct.
What i have so far:
new brake master
new clutch slave
new front shocks
what yet to get here:
inner tie rod ends
pitman arm
ball joints
bushings
outer tie rod ends
steering column bushings
and i cant remember what else is on the way.

Looks like a 71 to me. :)
I really want to get my hands on a 71.
Right now I own a 72

Nice. Doesn't even have the rust that mine does, which I thought was good.

yep 71 with power antenna in the rear.

you can use the master cylinder from a 73 RX-3 (available at Schucks for about $50) - you just need to graft in a short piece of new hydralic line and use a brake line union to make the front line long enough to get up to the top of the MC cuz that's where it is on the RX-3 units, not on the side like the RX-2 one.

Wow, that is a fine car.

Looks nice, allthough I think it looks kinda cheesy with the rx7 wheels on it. They just dont go together to me.

now 03-01-04 11:48 PM

and i was thinking of leaving the rx7 wheels, thought
they kind of suited the car.

it is clean indeed... props for you

MosesX605 03-15-04 06:22 PM

Nice, very nice indeed.

I like the 7 rims, they suit the car, IMHO. That being said, the rims from a '79 RX-7 might look even better...

epitrochoid 03-23-04 01:56 AM

very nice, sought after exmple dude, well done.

Sweet car, I have an Rx2 and Rx3, but neither are as nice.
