any way i woud like to say hi to all the ppl on the forums.

ime curently building a nissan micra K11 shape with a 1st gen rx7 engine and driveterain i havnt got any picks of the car with the rx7 engine cauz ime still wating for the engine to be delivered but i do have some picks when it had a 2.0ltr renault megane coupe engine in altho it was not finished when the picks where taken ule get the idea my micra b4 i got the rx7 engine

ime also looking for some tuneing advice for my progect any help woud be fantastic

How much does your car weigh? I have never heard of the Micra before? I was really wondering how you are going to mount the motor. You are going to have to do a bunch of fabricating to get it to fit (especially the tranny) Are you a good welder? It looks like it will require a whole lot of welding. That car is awesome. I wish you luck with the project.

You said first generation engine. Are you talking about the 12a or 13b. Either way you need to see if you can get the lsd rear end from the first generation if you are going rear wheel drive. If you decide to go front wheel drive I would have no idea what you should do. You might be able to modify a tranny from a front drive car.

ive got a whole 1st gen car that was a wright off its has a new engine in the rx7 only put in 1200 mils b4 it was wrighten off. ime going to muont the engine in the front and use a shortened flore plan from the rx7 lots and lots of fabricating to do hope to have it done some time this year maybe.

the weight of the car is minimal a std micra out the factory weigks in at 800kg but mine has been lightende by a concideibal amout by removing the interiour trim and carpets and replacing the bonet with fiberglass along with the wings the windowd have also been lightened my replacing with pesspex also the rx7 engine + gear box weighs less than the the std micra engine alone so ime hoping it will be some wher in the reagion of 700kg when its on the road

That will be very fast and fun to drive. My dad and I have tossed up the idea of swapping a 12a into a triumph spitfire. I just love light weight cars.

ive got big tuning plans for it as well.

extend the engine to 4 roters and turbo it and run it on my own customized eci ime makeing ect
