Hard to see the color but its actually all flake. I also had under the valence, fenders, trunk, and wheel wells sprayed with bedliner. Thought I would post some photos of the build.

Very nice love the color, what is the purpose of the fan next to the fuel cell?

The other piece of the door striker assembly bolts there. That's how the door stays latched.

Its for the transmission cooler, I cut out the inside of the rear wheel well and added a grated fresh air intake, it then runs up inside the rear quarter panel up through the trunk floor into a boxed room holding two transmission coolers, the air then exits back through the trunk floor where the fan is located on the bottom side. The purpose is because I live in Florida and my horsepower levels are fairly high so I didn't want the extra heat at the front of the radiator.

Nice work! Where did you get the front coilovers from?

Made them. Welded rx2 lower spindles to cxracing struts that were for a Toyota corolla. Cxracing struts had 550lb per inch springs which were way to stiff. With the V8 my car came in at a surprisingly 2150 lbs, so I ended up using a 350lb per inch spring then had to have the struts revalved for my application. I topped them off with adjustable camber plates from a BMW E40 which happen to have the same top bolt pattern as the original rx2. For the rear I used megan racing struts from a RX8 all I had to do was mill new bolt hole locations on the megan racing hats and it fit perfectly.

Do you know where to buy new or used, fiberglass or sheetmetal RX2 replacement body panels?
