cosmo to rx2 lsd, rx2 intake, bumpers, master cyl
 

Im thinking of buying a 78ish Mazda Cosmo so that I might use the limited slip out of it in my Rx2 for auto cross. I dont really want the whole rear end. Just the 3rd member. Are the axle shafts interchangable? I tried looking on Felix Miata's page but it evidently doesn't exist any more.

Im also wondering if any of you guys have ever had a lake city rotaries intake manifold on one of these cars. I have a street ported 4 port 13b that I would like to fit into this car but Im not sure that the side draft intake I have for it will fit without hitting the strut tower. It barely fits in the 79 Rx7 that its in now with out hitting the frame rail. I just have velocity stacks and little filters on the tips of the stacks right now so co worries about a big air filter.

And one more thing. is it possibel to put the early style bumpers on this car. The way it sits right now its not much to look at but those bumpers are hideous! I like the smaller early style ones much better as Im sure does everyone else. What years did they use the smaller ones.

Oh hey heres another question lol. I recently ordered a brake master cylinder for it too. The old one is really rusty and I cant even get the plunger out of it to rebuild it. Any way... Auto Zone has no listing for an Rx2 master cylinder so I ordered one for an Rx3. are they the same?

Well I got my brake master cylinder in today and its not the same. I ordered one for a 74 Rx3 hoping that it would work since my computer at work shows that a 74 Rx2 has no master cylinder. But the Rx3 cylinder is longer and the front line mounts to the top instead of the right side. Do you guys know who I can get one from? Or do you think that this one will work if I can get the lines to reach?
