any original or restored to original spec old skools?
 

now i've seen many old skools, both most of 'em have been heavily modded or turned into dragster-ish cars. is there anyone out there w/ an original or restored old skool? i personally am very fond of rx-3's in any bodystyle and would love to start a hunt for a restoration project. anyone done stuff like this out there? where do you find original parts? mazdatrix?

My RX-2 is semi-original

Just suspension upgrades and a later model 12A and 5 speed to make it more enjoyable (to me)

There's some guys that have some kleen and originals Old Skoolers, but for the most part some of the cars have some kind of upgrades for power,control and or comfort!
Just got to love the looks of the Old Schooler!!

Hey, well I'm 18 months into the restro of my R100, the shell still looks the same as when I brought it, Im doing a full factory spec rebuild and trying to use as many nos parts as I can find, Finding 10a parts has been the chellange, Lucky for me I grew up in New Zealand/Australia so still have lots of contacts back home , buying nos or top quality reproduction parts there for old school rotarys is like buying parts for a mustang up here , There are many shops that specialise in these products. Freight buy sea from Australia to U.S.A/Canada is about $160usd per cubic meter of space and takes about 30-45 days, This being said if you have to get it put into a create then this is where the cost is, timber create for 1 cubic meter $250usd. But now after 18 months searching the web and many different countrys I have almost all brand new parts for the entire drive line, So if you do want to do a full restro take your time search long and hard and you time and effots will not be wasted , But dont expect it to be aa quick process
