Here are some pics that i have make today. The owner who bought the Sp was a very good friend from me and he dies in Dec. 2010. His old mechanic makes a wreck from the SP.
Here are the biggest changes that he do:
- 20B out and a 12A inside
- complete wiring cut
- Exhaust system complete missing
and so on.
The rest you can see on the pics.
I have decide for me that i bring back the car in memory of my friend.

If everyone can help me to get the stripes and the rubbers from the bumpers it was great.

Joerg

There are lots of people on here that want a correct air dam if i can ever find one i am going to mold it

Siraniko 02-23-12 08:19 AM

The air dam on that SP is not even the right one. You have to look closely to see it. So where is the 20b now?

rudirx7 02-23-12 04:24 PM

When i dont find a right air dam than i will modify him so that they looked like the original one.
My problem where the stripes!
The 20B is still in a box, only the ECU is missing. Did you know what ECU was inside at the selling time?

Thank´s for tip. I will check it.

tonka_1956 08-21-12 11:36 AM

The strips are sold in EBAY, just type RX3SP, they want $500.00 the air dam I am check with a friend from Aguada, Puerto Rico that makes the spoilers for the RX3SP, dont know if he is still alive, I got one back in the 80 from him, my x ran the spoiler into the exhaust of my Dune Buggy and it had 2 holes and cracked up in the middle. If I get a number I will post it here for you. That was a beautiful RX3SP, sorry to here about the previous owner, but you will bring it back to life with a 12A all original SP.

Do any of you guys know all the colour codes for the SP's?

I know there's AY Impulse Blue and Grand Prix Red but what are the codes of the other colours?

Impulse Blue=AY
Grand Prix Red=?
Mascot Green=? (I know green wasn't meant to be an appearence pack colour)
Yellow=? (I think there were two yellows the lighter one possibly "Flair Yellow")
White=?
Silver=?

I don't think I missed any.

I found this on ebay and snapped it up.

It says "The optional 'appearence package' is made for Mazda by Roger Chastain (of Shadow fame)....

So you're telling me that the car in the first picture is the same car in the other pictures?

Is there anyone still making the SP stripe kit.

I think your best bet is to find the dimensions, and take pictures of a stripe kit to a vinyl shop for them to reproduce

surem03 03-25-14 09:21 PM
