sure did. i think it was a combination of the volume of the raditor and the fans. I like the new spal fans alot. they move a ton of CFM and are three times as quite as my old fans.

took it to a freinds shop on saturday and repalced the pressure plate because the pressure plate that i installed caused the clutch pedal to be a bit to heavy for me. installed an ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate and pedal is good. took it out for a nice cruise last night.

Believe it or not I found an oil pan bolt with crush washer at the local Advanced Auto parts store that had the right thread pattern. Works perfect.

Simon,

You have made my old truck exactly 100% what I dreamed for. I have sold alot of things but it makes it alot better when I see it be done the way I had dreamed! If I ever win the lotto you will be one of the first people I call.

So happy you got the old girl. Took me awhile to find her and only wish I could have done the same to her.

Still drooling...................

Thumbs up

I was lucky enough to see this beauty in person.
These pics are great but she looks even better in person.
The fit and finish and detail that he put in this truck is second to none.

Congrat on a awesome REPU bro!

It was a great platform to start from. Very little rust and the truck was in great shape. Made the build much easier. I actually drove it around for a week just like i picked it up....i could not resist ahahahahahaha

All loaded up and ready for the drive back to FL

Man your truck is something else. You definitely give me a goal in the stance and overall cleanliness of the truck.

I LOVE your truck! You should bring it out to the West Coast for JCCS, then I can plead my case for a ride in it!! Great build, man!

Thanks man….glad it inspires you. I had the same inspiration with turbo dave’s REPU build and took a lot of his ideas.

Thanks…..It will be out west one of these days…..i have been seriously thinking about going to seven stock. Maybe next year, as this year seven stock falls on the same day as the largest Florida rotary meet of the year. I don’t know when the JCCS car show is but I rather attend Mazda/Rotary only events. Rotary’s are small group and we tend to get outnumbered when paired with other car manufacturer’s.

Well....think about Sevenstock for next year. I am 25 minutes away from the California Speedway, we can BBQ, and I will kick my 240Z outta the garage for a few days so your repu can have a garage spot!

This is honestly the coolest truck of any kind that I have ever seen. Maybe DGRR next year? I'm trying to make it out there in my 7 for the first time. I would love to see this thing in person!

simon, I hope you can bring this up to DGRR this year. I'm wanting to check it out and I'm really wanting to drop a 3 rotor into my rx3 and set up the engine similar to yours.
