1983 Supercharged Starlet

Newbie here, please be EZ on me!

I`m new to this forum and thought I would post some pics of my Starlet and the Engine. Different then most that I have seen! The engine is currently out of the CAR for a REBUILD.

I am in the market for a Stock or Modified 13B TII engine to use as a spare engine and to test my hand at porting.
If you have one hit me up, michael@memtechonline.com

Just follow the link below. Hope you all LIKE!

ohya, Best time last year 11.76 @ 118mph. 13psi and no NOS. Horrible 60ft times from worn clutch

That looks pretty good. Nice car, good clean install too.
Turbo rotary is where it's at! No more fooling around in the 11's :D
That ford 9" rear end should help you put that turbo power to the ground too when you get it going.
What type of porting do you plan to do on the new engine? Keep it a streetport or up it to a bridge or even a race only peripheral?

Check out the parts for sale forum for used engines. Not many modified ones get advertised for sale there though.

what kind of SC and carb are you using?

Thanks for all the comments.

The Supercharger is the smaller 5" version from Camden / Atkins Rotary. The CARB is a STOCK Holley 650 Double Pumper. I have a really small pulley on the 5" to acheive about 13 psi of boost at about 5-6k rpms. The engine is a BIG street port. My major problem is traction so until I take care of that I am sticking with the supercharger / NOS setup. I have never run the NOS but I am dieing to run the NOS at about 1/2 track just to see what will happen :o:

My local track is only about 100yards from my house but it is only an 1/8 mile track so I have pretty much only run brackets last year with only 2 visits to the 1/4 mile at MIR . I can`t wait for the nice weather.... I`m figuring if I can put down a 7.1 1/8 with the NOS I can easily be in the 10s in the 1/4. Time will TELL.

Later
Mike
