And to think how disposable these were in 81 and 82 in Seattle. A really nice one could be had for $300.00-$500.00. We would strip them bare, put in a ported 12a and go fast parts, and beat the crap out of EVERY hot car of the time. Then, when we'd beaten it enough, we'd toss it over our shoulder like a used Dixie cup, and do it again. If we only had a brain.... There were super cool examples of every model of Rotary Mazda running around when I grew up. Wish I'd had a place to stash them until now....
