Nice car, but I'd be afraid to drive it anywhere far, due to the fact that NSU were not very reliable. Can you even get parts for this car?

Wow, that needs to go to a Rotary Museum.

sweeeeeet German metal.......................

very cool but not worth 13K.

Parts will be impossible to find so you'd have to look into a Mazda rotary swap if you want to have parts availability.

On top of that this was the wankel design BEFORE Mazda improved on it so if it's an original/rebuilt motor you can expect an average of 50K miles before you need a rebuild.

LOOKS GREAT THO!! Come to think of it, if you can pick it up for 10K or less then you can own a pice of rotary history since there aren't too many of those around, let alone in the states.

I used to have one of these, although it was in about 1000 pieces when I acquired it and I never did get it finished. Like phoenix7 said, parts were practically impossible to find here in the US. You'd probably have better luck finding them in Germany. Same goes for rebuilding the engine, you pretty much have to machine your own parts or send it to Germany. I think there are still a few guys there that rebuild them.

I believe there were only ~2400 of these made so there's not many parts floating around. There used to be a NSU club but I'm not sure it still exists.

here's my old generic website:
