13b in a WW2 Army Jeep

I figured since i just rolled over the 3,000 mile mark on this swap it can be considered a success. Last november I picked up a pair of rx7's and a spare engine. I mixed a few bits together and created this thing... I have done a few diesel swaps but wanted something different this time. Everyone in my jeep groups said it was a dumb idea and it wouldn't work. that made me want to do it more. The only comparable builds i could find were rotary samurais. but most of them were poorly documented and almost all were 2wd. For me this build had to be 4wd and maintain the appearance and driving characteristics of a mostly stock willys jeep. Below are the details. I've had this thing on red and black rated off road trails. Its done a little rock crawling... some small road trips and been my grocery getter. its been reliable and fun. It has far exceeded my expectations and proved the haters wrong. I have tons of pictures and videos of this swap. let me know what you want to see. Thanks for looking!

1945 Ford Gpw
1991 6-port na 13b
2.5" stainless exhaust aerotech resonator, jones turbine muffler and a 14" magnaflow
fi-tech EFI
FC 5-speed
Samurai t-case 6.5 gears HD outputshafts case cradle 1.7:1 High range (this is the key)
Dana 44/25 5.38 lockers front and rear
4-wheel disc brakes
Firestone 7.50-16 tires
Roll cage
wet weight 2,180 lbs
80" wheelbase
126:1 final crawl ratio
Top speed....unknown
Cramming the 5-speed and divorced t-case into an 80" wheelbase was a challenge but in the end it all worked out!

thanks! It’s been excellent! I run a lot of crazy angles and bumpy stuff in all conditions and it doesn’t skip a beat. Starts great hot or cold. Never fouls plugs. My experience has been nothing but positive.

If anyone is interested in the process from day1 here is the first video... I had zero experience with rotaries when i bought the donor car. It hadnt run since 2011. it was a total unknown but it all worked out! The car had 135k on the clock but i was told it got a new engine from mazda years ago... the guy put about 65k miles on it then it got too rough to pass inspection and he parked it.
