yes there is.... the RX4 was a Carb'd 13B in the US in 1974

im also curious as to whether or not it is possible to convert a 13b that i would pull out of a s4 or s5 rx7 to a carburetor setup? if so, what all is needed to do this?

please bear with me guys, i know i have alot of noob questions but thats exactly what i am. and i really appreciate any info you guys can give.

...why?.. As a base, injection is always more efficient and generates more power. If your pulling the engine anyways, pull the ecu along with it so you have have to worry about all the controls and stuff.

If you are going to convert it, you'll need new intake, carburetor, and fuel pumps as some obvious pieces.

For a carbonated 13b you might have to dig back into the 70's because all the 13B's after that were injected. However the 12A is a more common carb find. I cant stress enough that going injected is always better, more horses and more fuel efficient. Converting my 12A to injection is high on my priority list.

There are aftermarket manifolds for 6 port 13Bs. (Old school 13Bs with stock carburetors were 4 port)

LOL @ noobs who think the AE86 is the only RWD Corolla and that there's no carbureted 13B... As if the RX-7 was the first rotary vehicle. :hahaha: Hell. Some people don't even recognize RX-7s prior to the FC.
