So I finally had some free time and decided to try to start the RX3.... Here a video

Yeah, it has a 2 barrel but I am looking for a 650 right now.....

 

Finally made time to work on the rx3.... Idle is high and needs to be adjusted but I let it run for a while...

I love my Rx3 it's in blue but I love white cars. I wish I can find a white one Rx2,3,or a 4. See my first Rx3 was white over 25 years ago. Had a lot of fun in that car. I have to find one in white. Nice find good luck. You my see me in chicago this summer in my blue Rx3 ridding around with Danny with a green Rx3Sp.

awesome you got it running! when i saw it, i never expected much from the motor.

 

Yeah me neither but.. With a little patience I got to run...Idle is high because intake is sucking in air.... I have a RB intake and a holley 650 for it.... Hopefully I can put it on this weekend....

 

sounds strong though, what else do you need to get it rolling?

 

It really needs a exhaust... My wife get really mad when I start up the car since it open header... The Car drive thou.. I put new brakes on it.. connected the gas tank... A friend re did the wiring since it was hacked up.. I found moat.of the missing parts... Back seats, spare tire well, grille badge and some other stuff... Still.looking for the lower chin from the center console??

 

dont forget to go to CostCo or Walmart for a larve bottle of extra strenght tylenol lol

Its crazy what we have found in Iowa for old Rxs.. This, same owner said his dad had a rx5 in the barn. Then we found that Red Rx4. I wonder what else is hidden in barns around here
