******How much is this worth? ******
Owner says the body/paint is in good condition. It was setup for rotary at one time.
Anyhow, I'm not sure how much something like this would be worth. What do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-...QQcmdZViewItem Thanks. |
The price of the car is the smallest part of the equation. The question should be how much would it cost to finish it. LOL
I would say no more than $2000. I don't know if you have thought of it or not (probably have) but i would have the owner of whatever car you get measure the drivers area to see if you can fit in it comfortably (especially a 3/4 chassis). The reason i say that is that i had to deviate from my chassis kit design so that i could fit in my RX-3. |
yes rotaries fit in there
seen plenty of those cars with 12A/13B's |
I might question the fact that there are no pictures of the interior, engine bay or under car shots of the chassis... for all we know it's a mess under there... big weld buggers.. rust everywhere and is probably not even straight so when you go to launch you will do donuts down the strip. you may find yourself re-doing the whole chassis
having said that , it's still a cool ride |

Alright, what about this as a complete rolling chassis. No motor, trans, fuel, igntion. Car is legal for 8.50's.

That ebay car is worth about $500. That chassis car is worth quite a bit however. Its close to 5 grand just to 4 link and cage that thing (all the tin work and such). Then it has gauges, front suspension, PAINT (although not my taste), windows are re done, Im guessin that some of that car is fiberglass. Thats a lot of money. If it has brakes and is wired already, then WoW, thats all I would say. AND HELL, its a notch back 1200, not the fastback that everyone has. That car has STYLE. I like it. How much is it, I want to buy it.
