Weld in a bung for Wideband O2 sensor
Can someone recommend a shop in the Beaverton area that can put a bung in downpipe?
I mean, put one in, and do it right? I'm really getting tired of giving people money to do a job, and getting garbage in return. The bung I had welded in at a local muffler shop (Ed's Muffler in Beaverton) doesn't hold water. Literally. The welds didn't look too good, and they weren't. I poured some water down the pipe, and it leaks out around the welds. I just need someone to fix it now I guess. Not going back there. |
I can do it for you. Drop it off at Apex Restoration 12225 SW Millikan Way in Beaverton. Tell them your droppng it off for Adam(Moto) to fix it. Give me a call 503-320-6495. The welders I have access too posted.

Well I fixed his FUBARed downpipe, jesus, whoever did this doesn't know how to weld. I ground off what I could and then did two layer of stainless. I also removed his heat shield material transfer and the sharp ends off the midpipe mounting plate.

The guy that does the welding at GZ does very good work, as does Rob. I've been running around so much, I was trying to find someone closer to home to cut down on my driving. Should've known better... IAC Adam took care of it today and did a great job. |
