alright so i finally managed to get the plug out. Cheap *** Craftsman sockets....it took a $50 socket to get it free.

Unfortunately, the car is still misfiring a little bit. What's next?

i just skimmed, so if this is repost.. oh well...

You might try checking your coolant temp sensor.... the green plug that sits on the back of you T-stat housing... make sure its firmly in place, then if is, you can check it via back probing it at the ECU....

what happens is, if this wire isnt getting the proper signal the car is a PITA to start... it actually acts flooded...but once it does get started and warm... it will start fine. this happened to me.

Regarding Witch hunter: he rocks.........

No I learned it from the broken rx7 community long ago

Now why would I need to learn this from my 8? The 8 works properly and has never had an issue.

The flooding issue the 8's experienced that were "publicized" were actually a minority in the rx8 world, but bad publicity always gets exaggerated. It was mainly from stupid owners that didn't know anything about the car.

I literally tried to flood my rx8 once to see how these people were doing it. It had sad overnight, completely cold, and I started it and let it run for a few seconds then turned it off. Did this 3 times in a row and every single time it still started perfectly. No clue how people manage to flood their 8's.
