t2 direct swap my ass

The more I read the more I get confused here. I just bought a jspec s5 t2 motor and sick of it already. I'm currently extending my wiring harness about 4 ft but now I read that the wipers dont work. Well s*** so much for that idea. Now that I go out and look at the motor I see 3 fuel lines, and about 5-6 connectors that dont sync with my N/A connectors so wtf? I have spent a good 3-4 hours looking for a jspec t2 swap how-to's and all I got was "Coming Soon!!" I'm getting tired of thinking that I figured it out, and then get shot down the next second. -END NOOB RANT

Damn bro sorry to hear that. I know here in the forum there are so many versions of things and one say this and the other say that. I personally would call a respectable Rotary shop and really ask someone there. Because you just never know and is better to get it done one way than trying to find so many different ways. I think there no best way but just a lot of different ways. Anyways Good luck with that and don't give up man! Life is a Challenge!

well it would make sence to buy a tII wiring harness along with a tII motor.....so maybe your problem is you're using the wrong harness.

This is my favorite right up on the swap. Hope it helps.

dood You should be able to use a S5 N/A wireharness and just disconnect a couple things from the connector at the ECU side. Download the FSM for a Turbo and N/A. Look at the ecu connector map and compare the two. You'll find they are exactly the same except for the auxiliary port activation and a couple other things. Disconnect the wires from the ecu connector that are not needed. I think the only thing you'll need is a boost controller since the n/a harness doesn't have that wired in. I was looking at the swap myself for my s5 vert.

I did it about a year ago. S4 though. I definitely am glad I bought a u.s. TII harness. you can check out teamfc3s.org/forum for alot of FC specific junk for sale. and there is a sticky of a thread I started in the Turbo section that I got a ton of help straightening out all the little wiring problems. this kinda thing is all in the will power, how bad do you want it?

^^^ n/a harness FTW bro.. . . at least if you're running no emissions.

I'm looking for a ecu at the moment, and my jspec engine asks for a N370. I keep seeing n374's. Would those work at all? I have also seen the chipped n374's too. Any ideas?
Thanks, Zane.
