Sunday July 30th -- Come play around at Mt Hood :D

Hello everyone. My name is Chris and I would like to invite you to come play around at Mt. Hood for a day.

Im organizing an event for July 30th at Mt hood's new Adventure Park located at Ski Bowl. this place sounds like a lot of fun for everyone. they have the classic alpine slide, and also a new 100ft bungie jump, 500ft zipline, tube slides, mountain bike trails, and much much more.

I am asking everyone to meet up Before 11:00 AM at the Vancouver Mall south side Outside of JC Penny. There is a large open parking area that is empty and can easily hold 100's or cars. also just so everyone knows this will be a multi forum gathering... i have posted this information up on a few other various forums. such as RX8Club.com, RX7club.com, evolutionm.net, My350z.com, Nasioc.com, & 3si.org.

This event will feature a nice 1.5 hour drive up to the mountain followed of course by a nice fun day at the park, and then closed off with a nice 2.5 hour cruise down and around the southeastern side of Mt. Hood into Hood River and over the columbia river to Hwy 14. We will then take a nice "spirited" drive along Hwy 14 back into Vancouver / Portland to conclude the day.

Ive posted up information to various website and forums, and im hopeing for a great turnout.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me at Supermacnum1@aol.com and i will get back to you promptly.

I have posted up a site (similar to the july 1st Long Beach cruise i just did) that has all the info and such posted up as well as detailed maps of the drive route planned.

Thanks a lot, hope to see you there.

Hey Chris. Where are you thinking of going up the Moutain on the Oregon side? Are you going down 205 to exit 12a (clackamas\estacada) or up north farther ? The reason I ask is that us Oregon People can meet up with you guys some where then do the drive up.

check out the maps on the site i posted up. i was planning meeting up at the vancouver mall and then heading south on 205 to 84. then take 84 over to 238 (wood village) then take that to burnside and make a quick hop onto 26. then its 26 all the way out to mt hood.

as for the return trip. i was just thinking of taking 35 around the south side of hood and then heading up towards hood river. take the bridge accross at hood river and get onto hwy14. take 14 west all the way back into vancouver or portland (depending on where people need to go).

Thanks,
chris
