someone painted their car

i remember a post a while back someone with a white fc painted their car by themself and i cant remember who. please post a reply lol. i think it may have been tooshort88? usp??AHH poop i dont remember

I also painted one of my TII's white. It is a PITA though if you don't have a good gun or air-compressor.

hahah i didnt mean it that way :P sorry . micaheli nice write up im watchin your thread. you should post prices of your equipment/paint that you have spent so far. erik how did you do yours? you have a posted thread on it?

LOL, no thank you. lets just say for all of the equipment costs, paint costs, misc costs, its going to cost me less than if I had gotten this quality of paint job done professionally.. and in the end, I get cool tools and my own paint booth.

lol. Yeah.. thats quality for ya. I did my interior, exterior, etc.. in quality paint. That doesn't come cheap. Labor is the expensive part of any paint job as well. But, my labor is cheap since I have a lot of free time.

yea i was going to do 50 dollar paint job on my cars, ive seen it look good. but wouldnt hurt to know how to shoot your car either, and you can get some neato colors that way that rustoleum products cant give ya.

I'd rather have a good paint job with REAL paint that'll last another 16 years than have to do 50 dollar paint jobs every 2 years.

I actually prefer the rattle can method, part of my car is rattle canned and you cant even tel also, my gf's been rattle cann ing her FC for about 3 years and you cant tell .
