Rotary Powered Porsche 911
 

I have a project that I got half built, then set aside and got distracted with other projects. I am trying to decide if I should finish it or let someone else have all the fun.

I am wondering what you guys think it might be worth when it is finished, and how much interest there might be. Of course the Porsche purists would not want it, as they prefer that antique air cooled engine.

This one has a Kennedy Engineering adapter, a Porsche tranny, clutch and flywheel, and a 4 port 13b with street porting and brand new GSL-SE rotor housings. If I finish it, what is it worth on the market here?

I know there are some rotary 911s in southern Cal, and there have been a few 914s done here in Seattle. Do any of you know of a Rotary powered 911 in the Puget Sound area?

I havent seen one around but it would deffinately be a cool & FUN project to drive around in... I hope you finish it so you can enjoy the work you have aready put into it!

Be sure to put a Rotary Engine emblem over that 2.4 on the rear grill :)

The car is probably worth more parted out.

Porsche people have a LOT more $$ than rotorheads.

if you don't finish that I am gonna come up and pop a cap in yer ass,lol. you need to go for a ride in one and you will never think about getting rid of it. I have a 12a vw baja and the power was amazing, now its turbo time :smoker:

that 911 would be one bad mofo. I seen a 13b turbo in one on e-bay with 400+ dyno hp. the drivers are usually the weakest link when swapped. 5th gear at 7000 rpm will get you to 175 mph no problem.
