rotary help+tri cities WA...
Hello eveyone I'm looking for someone that has experience with rotary engines. I'm 17 and live in tri-cities WA and I can't find anyone that has alot of experience with rotary. I have been talking to fellow rx7 owners in the area asking if they know anyone that works on rotary and they said no one really, they pretty much do everything themselves.... Then most of the 7s I see around are mostly stock or with minor mods like exhaust or intake or something simple. Most of the younger kids I talk to don't really know rotary and are too ignorant to want to learn, they just know that their car is fast.... LOL There are only two rx7's I know about that are pretty modded but I havn't really got the chance to talkt o their owners and they are fd's. I have an FC.... I'm looking for someone to street port my motor. I would love to do it myself but I have no experience with it.... If I can't sell the old N/A engine I want to rebuild which I'll need help on. My grandpa helps me alot but he is mostly a piston guy and doesn't really know much about rotary. Plus I'm looking for a mentor since it is my senior project, doing a TII swap into my 86rx7... I'm actually done doing the swap I just need soemone to help me with the minor kinks and I want to start modding...

Hi there, to learn how to rebuild an engine you should get Atkins Rebuilt video. Depending were you are located there are a few shops that specialized in engine rebuilds, porting etc. One of them is Atkins Rotary Puyallup and I forgot the other shop down in Oregon and then is Jeff Automotives in Puyallup. Great guy I am not sure how great is his work but he have helped a few members from here with engine rebuilt and so far they are running. Beside that Atkins Rotary sell the re-built kits for engines so you might want to check with them. There are a lot of shops that do that kind of work but I don't know were they are located.

Hey I go to PHS... It's not hastings anymore. LOL Everyone meets up at "R.O.D.'s". there are a bunch of kids at PHS that I know that have superchargers in their honda's and they think they can run people. LOL they claim to run 12's flat. IDK though...

there are a few of us that still meet up at hastings actually, i own an FC, and 2 other FC's go out there with me on Sat night after 9:30 ish... and manuel in the Red FD will stop by occasionally...yeah its not like it was a few years ago...but a few of us still show up at Hastings...and kick it...u should come by sometime so we have 4 FC's there.

asiandude15 , What color is your FC? , im sure ive seen u around, im driving the White S4 FC with the side molding painted black , with Black TII mirrors,Black TII Spoiler and right now 2 diff sets of wheels...

yeah its not like it used to be for sure, good or worse cops wise, ive seen some pretty wreckless shit happen there and around clearwater in general, i just went for the cars and the occasional cruise, theres no meets like that around albany it sucks.. i miss at pointing and laughing at the jdm tyte white rhd converted 240sx
i rolled with a red gtu, blue gxl, and a chameleon tt incon kitted 99 firebird, on occasion |
hahahaha...oh wow...the guy that owns that White RHD Converted silvia is one of my friends....lol, he rarely takes that thing out to hastings ...but he does slide it like mad!! , honestly there hasnt been alot of actual racing for the most part...at least with the group im around...but we found a nice road going toward plymouth outside of the tri-cities which has been cop free soo far , im mainly there like u were for the cars,and the cruising around....

lol u tri-cities people :) I wen down to Quincy and hit up the supposly 12sec CRX there, GSR w/ NOS. Me running mid 13s whooped him good :). They said that there is some 10sec integra from richland area that was at race wars down there.... Here in wenatchee stock Type-s RSX's are "fast" to the ricers...

Hey umm yeah I haven't driven my fc yet. I am still working on it going to be up and running hopefully by like friday or somehting. It all depends on the damn weather. But yeah saturday night after 9:30 ish I'll go there jsut to talk to you guys. I'll probably roll up in either a baby blue toyota camry or with my friend in his red prelude. I'd love to just talk to you guys sometime. Nice to know that there are other rx7 owners in the area on this forum... But yeah do you know anything about an fc that like I cna't tell if it is TII or not but looks liek it. The paoint job is uhh nothere, TII hood and has a whole lot of bando on it. It looks like it's being built. But yeah I've seen it around Pasco by CBC and then there is another Fc in pasco I've seen that is white, looks like a 10ae edition but I doubt it. Just looks like it. I've seen others but I never see their owners, I'd really love to tlak to them. Do you guys have experience with rotary....

oh for sure rock the camry, run some civics with that bad boy, the car scene is a little sad over there, an srt-4 is considered fast... me and my cuz showed up in his twin turbod firebird and raced a srt-4 and evo, it was pretty sad, anyone know hp numbers or 1/4 for the alien motorsports fc??

LOL My mom's Camry... Not a bad daily drive though... It does ok on gas milage I guess... But yeah I've only seen pics of alien's fc. It looks so nice though... I can't find their shop? Someone help? Everyone I've asked doesn't know about alien or even kaizenspeed well the honda kids know kaizenspeed they get all their stuff done by them... I prefer to work on stuff myself.... :) Ohh yeha there is a kid at PHS that just did a B16a swap in his civic hatchback and everyoone swears its so fast.... I'm actually going to get my friend with an LS integra a Vtec head so at least he can run that damn civic who I guess beat all the other hondas and celicas at school. What a shame now the b16a hatch is supposed to be the shit since he beat an H22a. My friend with his prelude is going to have a rematch with it, when he get his tranny replaced... lol, we had a 10ae up here in Wenatchee, a lay that works at the Casino/Bowling Ally.. I talked to her about selling it and she said she wouldn't ever sell it....

i havent seen the one that looks like a 10ae... yeah like u said, i see there cars but never the owners...lol As far as knowledge goes... im still learning and have only done simple things to my FC... but my one friend has been into rotaries for few years and he knows a few things..not sure how much. I wont be in town this weekend ,im going to be up in spokane hanging with some friends but there will be 2 FC's probly sitting there one grey/metallic and the other white, ill be out there next sat. tho if ya wanna drop by . |

Thats their FC!!! Whoa holy crap... Who owns the not so true TII? I was interested in the hood. If he'll sell it.... Or something... I see the guy sometimes by where I live.... My car is at my grandpa's so if you want to see it sometime... it would be cool. or better yet you could help me. J/k But seriously I think it would be cool to know the fellow rx7 owners around here. I'll talk to you at hastings sometime... Do you know who owns the rx7 down the street from the edgar brown stadium? I always see it parked, but yeah it looks like it has after market mufflers at least.. Never heard it run... Ohh yeha I ran by another well I know of a few more. there is a gray gxl that works at autozone in kennewick, he also owns a white fd with a large single turbo and fmic. He drifts it. I've talked to him before he is a nice guy... Then in traffic I've ran by a another gray se at the jack in the box in pasco and and then a blue one that a girl drives the car looks like it got t boned... the driver side is all messed up then three more... Umm one by robert frost elementary in pasco, it works accross the street. then a really clean gray GXL that always passes by fiesta foods... an older lady drives it, it is really clean then a red GTU at CBC and I ran by it a t schucks in Pasco and talked to the owner I'm not sure but I think he has a kid that drives it, I've also seen it at the mall. Has big subs in the back... Then last one is a blue one that I think works at round table in pasco.. Ohh yeah these are all fc's. Now that I think about it, thats alot of sevens around here. well kinda but not compared to others, I see more corvettes than 7s. Ohh in traffic in richland my friend and I were next to a skyline!!! an R32 model had no idea there was one there. An older guy drove it but yeah I'm pretty sure it was a GTR... It was so clean.... Then there is the Kaisenspeed skyline everyone knows about... I'd really love tot alk to you and the other guys at hastings... I hope to talk to you guys soon...

that R32 has been in town for just a few weeks one of my friends said they saw it 2-3 weeks back.but it is an GTR. |
