I was driving by the other day and thought, thats new? I would like to be able to have access to some expensive tools and learn how to use some.

Anyone been there, or a member?

Could Lap our own plates, make your own motor mounts, possibly do cages or seat mount brackets, ect, ect.

Yep, planning on getting a membership next month. Casting capabilities here I come.

I stopped in over the weekend, and took a tour of the shop. Definately lots of good tools, and Jerry, the tour guide, said there are more coming. They have sheet metal working tools, welders, wood working tools, industrial sewing machine, an electronics workshop, computer lab, bead blasters, grinders, cnc milling machine, lathes... Lots of big expensive equipment.

I'm going to take a few metal classes as they become available, and possibly a membership, but my only concern is that the tools are available when I need to use them.

thats awesome, would be handy to pay for just a day or 2 at a time.

You need to take an orientation course for just about every major tool, so that may not be ideal.
