Hey so I was talking with the gal that runs Pochi's in Lynnwood and was thinking of starting a monthly meet for RX7club, RX8club and Mazda's NW to get a North end monthly meet going. Looking to start Beginning of next year some time. Need to talk to the owners more about this, just wanted to start kicking around the idea.

If you don't know there used to having car meets and welcome them.

Was wondering what everyone's thought was on this?

The owner/my buddy just happens to own a nice rhd FD so I dont think it will be a problem.

 

I honestly think winter meets equals fail. im all in for summer,spring.

Last years Dec DelTaco meet it was probably one of the best turn outs last year. The weather was ****. When it was nice out no one showed.

 

Isn't there already a monthly MazdasNW meet? I think it alternates between Northgate and Federal Way. Plus then you have Izzys and Del Taco.

Personally I would prefer a more central location like Bellevue or Seattle - but it sounds like the owner of this place has an FD so that is cool.

I guess just set a date and see how many people come, do it a few more items and then see if people keep coming and if so make it a regular thing. I am worried about splitting the people between Del Taco and this meet though, and Del Taco is already usually a small gathering. That is why I recommend a more central location.

Are you referring to Christian's SSM '92? That car is beat up. I know someone who tried to buy it off him before he backed out of the deal. Same thing with his Skyline

Lynnwood is great! I would be there. Probably with nothing more than an rx7 pillow. But I would still try to make it. Anything more south than Northgate is probably too far for me.

Okay just talked with the other people at pochie's today, We're working on a time and trying to shoot for 3rd Sunday of the month.

When is this meet going to start taking place?

If I ever get my water injection installed in the roto-bug I'll pop on over to check out the local 7's one of these times.

 

Just start showing up on Sundays and see who else comes.
